Privacy Policy

Effective date: TODO: confirm — current published policy says October 5, 2026

This policy applies to the iOS app BatchMeta: Photo Keywords (“BatchMeta”) and this website. BatchMeta does not collect personal data, use analytics or advertising SDKs, or require an account. On the App Store, the app’s privacy label is Data Not Collected.

Photos and metadata

BatchMeta reads and changes photo metadata (keywords, captions and ratings) on your device, with the Photos permission you grant. Full photo-library access is needed for keyword features. You can change photo permissions in iOS Settings.

BatchMeta does not upload your photos or metadata to its own servers or any third-party service. Your photos remain in your system photo library. If you enable iCloud Photos, Apple’s system services may sync photos and metadata to your other devices according to your settings; BatchMeta does not control that service.

Local history for undo

Recent-change records are stored locally on your device to support undo. Removing the app may remove its local history.

Purchases

Apple handles payments and StoreKit purchase verification. BatchMeta reads your purchase entitlement to unlock larger batches. It does not receive your payment card details and does not maintain a purchase server.

Optional feedback

Send Feedback opens your email app with the app and iOS versions and optional questions. Nothing is sent automatically: you choose the message contents and whether to send it. If you email support, the recipient receives the information you send in order to respond to your request. Do not include private photos unless you intend to share them.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. TODO: confirm after deployment — the hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard request logs such as IP address for security and delivery; adjust this sentence if any analytics are later enabled.

Children

BatchMeta is rated 4+ and does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. TODO: developer to confirm wording

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
